Brownsville Partner Successfully Tries to Jury Verdict another case in South Texas

Recently on April 25, 2018, partner, Javier Gonzalez successfully tried and defended another case to jury verdict, in a personal injury matter involving a claim of clear liability against the defendant in Cause No. 2015-DCL-05713 styled Adelita Rodriguez vs. Jesus Torres, et al, defending Jesus Torres.  The plaintiff sustained a broken femur and pelvis; and underwent three surgeries with internal fixation and massive scarring; and poor ambulation.  The case was tried to a jury in the 445^th Judicial District Court of Cameron County, Texas.  Plaintiff’s counsel asked the jury for an award of $5 million.  The jury awarded $126,000.00 as to defendant.
