Profile
A lifelong resident of Corpus Christi, Mr. Spangler has a deep understanding of Gulf Coast industries, the people involved in them, and their day-to-day operations. That’s why he is one of Royston Rayzor’s most active “first-responders.”
Though he maintains a civil motion practice defending clients in the areas of personal injury, maritime law, and employment litigation, Mr. Spangler is primarily focused on providing 24-hour emergency response assistance in the event of work-site injuries, vessel collisions, and other land and marine casualty events. This work allows him to handle a wide variety of short-notice counseling and response work involving such matters as ship boards, Coast Guard inspections, post-incident inspections and investigations, OSHA matters, and other issues.
Above all, Mr. Spangler is focused on protecting his client’s interests. He preserves his clients’ rights during their most difficult times and offers expert advice during investigations and proceedings brought by governmental agencies including the USCG, OSHA, DOL-WHD, EEOC, TWFC, and TGLO. His detail-oriented, yet pragmatic approach has helped him maintain strong working relationships with his clients, camaraderie with his colleagues, and respect from his peers.
