Governor Abbott Appoints Sikes to Aerospace and Aviation Advisory  Committee

AUSTIN – Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Eddie Sikes to the Aerospace and Aviation Advisory Committee for a term set to expire on September 1, 2019. The committee assists in the state’s economic development efforts to recruit and retain aerospace and aviation jobs and investments in Texas.

Eddie Sikes of Brownsville is a partner at Royston Rayzor Vickery & Williams, LLP. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Defense Research Institute, Society of Human Resource Managers, and the American Bar Association. Additionally, he is a member of the Cameron County Space Port Development Corporation, member and former vice chairman of the Greater Brownsville Incentive Corporation, and the secretary of the Rotary Club of Brownsville. Sikes received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Texas and a Juris Doctor degree from Southern Methodist University School of Law.
